“Tama’ara’a” means “Tahitian Feast”, and in this class Chef Tammi will take you to the Society Islands for an evening that features authentic dishes from the South Pacific. Come for the fun, stay for the food and get lei’d before you leave!

Menu:

Poisson Cru- National Dish of Tahiti(Made ahead): Ahi tuna in coconut milk-served with island spiced chips

Moorea Salad with Scallop Skewers: rocket, mango, & avocado ~ dressed in a chili-keffir lime vinaigrette

Kalua Pig(made ahead): wrapped in banana leaves

Polynesian Slaw: fresh ginger, mango & cabbage, sesame soy vinaigrette

Chevrettes a la Vanille et Coco & Rhum: sauteed shrimp in a rich sauce of Taha’s vanilla bean, coconut milk and rum

Tahitian Po’e~ Tahiti’s Most Famous Dessert(made ahead): bananas, sugar, vanilla and coconut cream

Bora Bora Buzz: a cocktail of rum, amaretto and cranberry
