Come cook with us! Verdello classes are more than just lessons—they are experiences designed to inspire creativity, deepen your love for food, and give you the confidence to recreate dishes in your own home.
Unless a class description denotes “demonstrative,” all of our classes are hands on and require your involvement and engagement in the cooking process. You will be up and moving around so we ask that you wear comfortable closed toed shoes!
Class size generally ranges from ten to fourteen participants. After instructions from the Chef, participants will be broken into smaller groups to tackle different portions of the recipe. Our Chefs will guide you through the culture that inspired the meal as well as teach you techniques and preparation. Once the meal is prepared, the class will enjoy the meal together so come hungry and leave satisfied!
We offer a wide variety of classes for your enjoyment. From chef’s table tasting, hands-on engagement, to lecture classes designed to teach you how to pair your food with wine or other libations. Please read class descriptions for specifics. Our goal is that you leave each class satisfied, inspired, and excited. At the end of the class you will be able to take home recipes or other informational information. You also receive the perk of 10% off your entire purchase after any class!
Water will be available and provided at classes. We also have wine available for purchase in store before and during classes. We have options by the bottle as well as wine on tap if you don’t want to purchase a full bottle or just want to purchase a glass. You are welcome to bring your own wine into the Verdello kitchen and our staff will charge a corking fee for opening and serving your wine. You are also welcome to bring your own beer or premade cocktails. We provide all glassware, and while we want you to have fun and relax, we ask alcohol to be consumed responsibly!

I have shopped at Verdello for years. When I have out of town or out of state company I take them to Verdello. Such a great selection of oils, vinegars and so much more. Tonight was a fantastic evening at Verdello. I attended their Farm to Table cooking class. Chef Mitch guided us through roasted chicken over fall harvest vegetables, delicious beet salad with peach and basil oil, roasted zucchini with tomato sauce, french green beans and a wonderful chocolate dessert with a marigold. The instruction was great at 6 stations for 13 Individuals. The end result was a DELICIOUS MEAL! All vegetables including the chickens were locally sourced and sustainable from Western Variety Farm, Brian Berglund, Farmer.. Brian was there and introduced the vegetables before Chef Mitch got us prepping and cooking. I would highly recommend the cooking class offerings at Verdello with Chef Mitch.
