Basilicata is often described as the “undiscovered region” of Italy; full of small, sleepy villages and sweeping mountains. One of the best known areas of Basilicata is Matera, a world heritage site. In this hands-on class Chef Aaron will teach you to make Semolina Cavatelli, a sturdy and rich dumpling that is a staple of the region. You will also work in small groups to make up batches of Lamb Ragu, another classic dish of the region.
