Ucross Cookbook Class

For this special menu, Chef Cindy is drawing from her most popular recipes in The Ucross Cookbook: Cooking for Artists on a Wyoming Ranch. At home on a coffee table and kitchen counter alike, this beautiful hardcover cookbook features recipes and artful food photographs, essays from 10 Ucross artist-alumni, and stories of Chef Cindy’s time cooking for some of the nation’s top painters, sculptors, novelists, choreographers, poets, composers, and beyond.

Cindy has been the professional chef at Ucross since 2009. Before that, she owned her own restaurant in Bozeman. Located about 30 miles from Sheridan, in the foothills of the Bighorn Mountains, Ucross fosters the creative spirit of deeply committed artists and groups by providing uninterrupted time, studio space, living accommodations, and the experience of the majestic High Plains, while serving as a responsible steward of its 20,000-acre ranch.
