Unless a class description denotes “demonstrative,” all of our classes are hands on and require your involvement and engagement in the cooking process. You will be up and moving around so we ask that you wear comfortable closed toed shoes!
Class size generally ranges from ten to fourteen participants. After instructions from the Chef, participants will be broken into smaller groups to tackle different portions of the recipe. Our Chefs will guide you through the culture that inspired the meal as well as teach you techniques and preparation. Once the meal is prepared, the class will enjoy the meal together so come hungry and leave satisfied!
Additionally, you will leave the night with recipes so you can make the recipe again in your own home AND you will receive 10% off your entire purchase after the class.
Water will be available and provided at classes. We also have wine available for purchase in store before and during classes. We have options by the bottle as well as wine on tap if you don’t want to purchase a full bottle or just want to purchase a glass. You are welcome to bring your own wine into the Verdello kitchen and our staff will charge a corking fee for opening and serving your wine. You are also welcome to bring your own beer or premade cocktails. We provide all glassware, and while we want you to have fun and relax, we ask alcohol to be consumed responsibly!
To reserve your seat, you can reserve your seat online, call 307-655-8777, or stop in the store and speak with a Verdello employee. Classes generally fill up very quickly so please reserve your seat quickly to avoid disappointment.
Because of high demand, all classes must be prepaid at time of registration. Seats will not be held without payment and are available on a first come, first pay basis. If a class is full you are welcome to call us and put your name on a waitlist. Due to these circumstances we also have a strict seventy-two hour cancellation policy. Verdello’s Cooking School will schedule one of our amazing chefs to give you and your group a fun and unforgettable evening. Our chefs can either provide your party with a hands-on class, demonstrative class, or even cater your event while your party sits and enjoys the evening. Since our space is an intimate setting, we can accommodate group sizes up to fourteen people.
We have a wide variety of menus for you to choose from and the cost of a private party depends on the menu you choose and the number of members in your group. We have amazing chefs and extensive menus so we are confident we can find a menu that you and your group will enjoy!
